Sleep is not just rest at night. Sleep must meet several terms and conditions so that it can be called quality sleep.

"There are three elements that can determine the quality of good sleep, the first is duration, continuity and depth," said Edward in the World Sleep Day commemoration from AMLIFE in Jakarta, some time ago.
Duration is the length of a person's sleep. Normally, adults sleep within 7-8 hours per day. However, according to Edward, Indonesians turned out to sleep an average of 6.5 hours per day.
The second characteristic is continuity. This can be seen from the time of sleep that does not stop until when you wake up tomorrow. When you wake up in the middle of the night sleep is not included in the category of quality sleep and may have a sleep disorder.
Quality sleep is also characterized by the depth of sleep or the level of tenderness. Sleep well makes the body feel refreshed the next day and is ready to start activities.
"If after waking up but still tired, it means not quality," said Edward.
Edward explained that quality sleep can help develop hormones to regenerate cells, repair organs and break down fat. Quality sleep can also prevent premature aging, prevent tumors and break down toxins.
